FOOD FOREST PROGRAM

It is my absolute privilege and honour to conduct the Food Forest Program with our Primary students. Students gain experience and knowledge in how to grow, harvest, prepare and share seasonal, local, and organic whole food.

The program is built into the curriculum and we also have a Garden Club at lunchtimes and is open for all Primary students to attend. We present “Avid Gardener of the Week” awards at our weekly Primary Assembly.

As a passionate advocate for children’s health and well-being, everything about this incredible program excites me.

Mrs Allison Blandin de Chalain, Food Forest Program Coordinator.
