TOUCH FOOTBALL: Noosa Christian College currently runs Touch Football as our sport. There are currently teams for both boys and girls in most grades. After school training is one day a week with match games played on another designated day at the Coolum Touch Football fields.
Infant Swimming Carnival – Students in Prep-Year 2 participate in a fun and engaging mini-swim carnival designed for younger students. Shorter lap lengths and novelty races ensure this is a memorable day whilst building confidence in students prior to joining the competitive races in the Upper Primary Swim Carnival in years to come. Freestyle backstroke noodle, coin diving etc
Swimming Carnival – Students turning 8 – turning 12 years of age participate in the annual swim carnival held at the Eumundi Aquatic Centre. All students are encouraged to participate in their age races and earn participation points for their House. Swimming events include; 25m, 50m & 100m Freestyle, 25m & 50m Breastroke, 25m&50m Backstroke, 25m & 50m Butterfly, Medley and Team Relay races.
Cross Country – The Cross country track passes through the bushland and semi-rainforest creek bed situated at the rear of the property and covers a distance of 1km. Children in years Prep-2 complete one lap of the circuit. Students from Year 3-6 complete 2 laps.
Athletics Carnival – Students from Prep-Year 6 participate in a variety of events according to their age. Pre-Year 2 enjoy modified races and team games to emphasise fun whilst raising confidence in physical challenges. Older students from Year 3 compete in athletic events including; 100m Sprint, 200m Sprint, 400m, 800m, Long Jump, High Jump, Javelin, Shot Put and Discus.
Noosa Christian College (NCC) is an affiliated member of the North District Sporting Association. This provides students with a pathway of opportunity to represent the College at District, Regional and State level competitions in a range of sports.
The College is a co-educational day school currently catering for students in Kindergarten to Year 12. The College is open to students regardless of their religious affiliation, ethnic background, gender or national origin.
