We love hearing from our Year 7 students about their primary to secondary school transition. Here are some wonderful words from Autumn and Poppy about their recent experiences!
“Hi! My name is Autumn, and I am now in Year 7 at Noosa Christian College. I came to the school in the middle of last year, so my transition into high school was fairly easy for me. I absolutely love high school! The school made the transition very easy and explained everything to us on the first day. Some of my favourite parts about high school so far are having a lot of different teachers and classrooms and also being able to have little breaks in between classes. One of the things that I find a lot easier in high school is having a schedule so we can keep track of our classes. They also gave us all assessment calendars, which makes it so much easier to plan and know if you want to study!” ~ Autumn, Year 7, 2025
“These past few days of high school have been a dream – from meeting new people to learning new things in class. Year 7 isn’t all that different from Primary, apart from event dates, rules, and uniforms. My favourite day this week was definitely Tuesday because we got the full experience of high school.” ~ Poppy, Year 7, 2025
